Normally I would glue the first layer down with hot glue so it has an instant stick and then PVA or Mod Podge the rest of the bricks on.

To glue the bricks together you can just use PVA glue or a glue of your choice (not superglue though as this can melt the foam, so can hot glue if it is too hot). A great way to add texture is to use a ball of tin foil, a rubber, a wire brush even just a pencil the options are endless. However you are still able to add more texture if required for your project. They can all still be cut down too if required, they can easily be cut with a knife.Īll the bricks are made out of a XPS foam and have already been textured for you so you can just glue these down and then paint them without the need to add any texture. The bricks approximate sizes are 7mm x 7mm x 15mm but as they are hand produced some will be larger and some smaller too but this is great when building terrain as there are different sizes. This is for 18g, which is approximately 400, XPS foam bricks. I have some left that are black (as in the pictures) but my next batch are made with pink XPS foam, same product just a different colour.
